Curtis Palmer, born in Portland, Oregon, was raised
on the North Umpqua River, famous for its steelhead runs.
At the age of three he caught his first trout and couldn't wait to get his next fish, tagging along on his father's fishing adventures. As a youth he spent several summers fishing the lakes and rivers of Oregon, Montana and Canada. In the early 1990s he moved to Montana and spent his free hours fishing about the "Big Sky Country" for German Brown and Rainbow trout as well as Great Northern Pike. After returning to Oregon and the North Umpqua River, it became increasingly clear that his life would be linked to lakes and streams. So, as owner and operator of River Secrets Guide Service he was finally able to make his passion his work - - - fishing, with his clients, on Oregon's many challenging waters. |
